Baron Abas directs Stretch In Time, a short film made with Sony RX0
Have you ever woke up one day and thought… let’s make it rain on people doing hardcore stuff? We did!
See how we made superheroes look even cooler in the making of our short film ‘5tretch In Time’.
We built a rain rig to in our studio and really made it pour. Our talents were drenched but the effect on camera was worth all the effort. We strategically positioned lights to bring out the rain but kept our actors/actresses in a low key setting. Then, we shot everything in multiple passes on a dolly- once in real time and another in 500 fps super slow motion. The results were totally magical.

We brought in 5 skilled performers and filmed them with the Sony RX0 under the rain (there are times it almost felt like a storm). Our 5 talents were a 13 year old Wushu exponent, a hardcore b-boy breakdancer, a lightning fast nunchaku sifu, an amazing juggling master and a fire breathing girl. As cameras like the RX0 become smaller, we have to become more bold to get more creative content and worry less about the camera. Enjoy the video we made for you!
