This Behind The Scenes film will show you how they shot with limited budget, resources and time. With their combined efforts, they have started and actually completed (with time to spare) 3 sets of films that are to date the best films produced by students of Saito College.

They have a lack of funds but plenty of talent. No jib to do a boom shot? No problem!

Rather than mention what they used to shoot the films, I’ll tell you what they didn’t have. They didn’t have Canon 5D Mark II, follow focus, fast lenses, shotgun mic, dolly, Final Cut Pro, shoulder mount rigs, Steadicam/Glidecam, external monitors.

My students have helped to set the benchmark for future films that are produced in Saito College. MMD 35 & MMD 34, teaching you has been a privilege. You are a talented group of individuals, keep the torch of film making burning bright!
